Once in awhile, when Eric comes home from work, I retreat to the computer to catch up on my blogs. Well just now Eric was folding clothes and I could faintly hear a little ditty he was singing about being an internet widow. A few minutes later he let me know Seth wanted to eat.
Now, I am a nursing mama, and I have my priorities straight, yes I sure do. No matter how good a blog is, I am gonna stop reading and feed my baby. Please don't try and change my mind, if he wants to eat I must oblige. Anyway, Eric called me over to feed Seth. In a bit of a panic Eric thrust Seth into my arms, "Here take him, so I can go stop Isaac from hammering (literally, hammer in hand) the computer. Then what would you do if you couldn't blog." Snooty.
"Uh, I could totally go back to bon bons and TV. Duh." I see your snooty-ness and will retort in kind.
Eric half snorts and replies, "Ya, but then you would have to go to the grocery store." Hmm, let me just point out that when my baby wants to eat, I stop everything, and nurse him. Oh yes I do.

Ha ha ha! As I sit here the kids are running amuck and E needs a new diaper. Better than bon bons to feel like you have friends, right?
I always knew you'd do the right thing when forced to choose between cyber-connections and your actual offspring. Although I must say, I am thankful for our cyber-connection. Thanks for the post.
I miss sitting and talking to you in real person while you feed your little one. I will settle for cyber-space but don't take that away from me too. I really do miss you, do you know how much I like having you around. do I always say that?
